Krones Inc.’s newest high-speed Contiroll HS labeler can label and sleeve with speed, versatility and volume, and boasts a record output of up to 1,116 bottles per minute, due to Krones’ new servo drive technology. The new drive processes label lengths from 240mm 600mm—all on a single machine. The fully automatic Contiroll HS applies labels to round, oval, rectangular or square-shaped containers, and accommodates up to eight label reels.
 
Coty Inc. and KOSÉ Sign to Distribute Rimmel in China Coty Inc. and KOSÉ Corporation have entered into a licensing agreement to manufacture and distribute Rimmel products in China. Distribution is expected to begin in May 2008. Rimmel cosmetic products, including foundation, mascara, lipstick and eye shadow, will be imported by KOSÉ and distributed to select department stores and drugstores, starting in Shanghai. KOSÉ began the distribution of Rimmel products in Japan in 2006, and now plans to make it a leading brand in China, by developing new products that will carry Rimmel’s appeal, but be customized to meet the make-up styles of Chinese women.
